Proxy and geography consistency checker

Compare edge country, ASN, timezone, locale, and optional provider network flags against browser-visible settings.

QA scenario controls

Optional checks run only after consent and use the current browser session.

Scanner is ready.

Data use: the scan reads browser-visible signals in this tab and calls the edge IP endpoint. JSON download is local. Share stores a redacted report for seven days by default and removes raw IP from stored report JSON.

Audit scan engine idle

Start a scan to inspect browser-visible signals, edge geography, language, timezone, storage, rendering, and optional WebRTC state.

What does proxy geo consistency mean?

A browser test is more repeatable when edge IP country, ASN type, browser timezone, language region, and optional provider intelligence tell the same story about the intended test location.

What mismatch matters most?

The highest-impact mismatch is an IP country that disagrees with the browser timezone or primary language region. For example, a US edge IP with `Asia/Shanghai` timezone and `zh-CN` language may invalidate a region-specific QA result.

How reliable are proxy and VPN flags?

Provider flags are advisory. If no IP intelligence key is configured, the scanner still reports Cloudflare edge geography and marks proxy/VPN flags unavailable instead of guessing.

Next step

Align Playwright `locale`, `timezoneId`, optional `geolocation`, and the network route before treating a regional browser test as production evidence.
